Grand Opening of Anza Park Dog Park

City of Tucson Council Members Lane Santa Cruz (Ward 1), Karin Uhlich (Ward 3), and Steve Kozachik (Ward 6), will host a ribbon-cutting celebration of the completion of a new dog park at Anza Park, 1000 N. Stone Ave. on Friday, Sept. 10, at 11 a.m. This project marks the City’s eighth dog park. The 1-acre, off-leash area includes two separate fencedin areas, one for larger dogs (over 30 lbs.) and one for smaller dogs (under 30 lbs.). Other amenities include tables and benches, ADA-accessible walkways and gates, three drinking fountains, trash cans, signage, and waste dispensers. Join the celebration and bring your furry friends. Masks are required for all. For a list of all City of Tucson dog parks, visit
