The Downtown History Museum, tucked away in the Wells Fargo Bank building, features historic artifacts and exhibits that tell the story of Tucson’s origins as a Spanish fort and mission to its modern-day incarnation as a modern city with a strong sense of pride in its “Old Pueblo” origins.
Exhibits featuring early downtown Tucson, including artifacts from a barbershop, hotel, and drugstore. Leisure activities are also explored with exhibits that discuss music, theater, dance halls, gambling, and church in Tucson.
